Get ‘Modern Tossed’… On Facebook

Modern Toss

Although a lot of their humour is a bit anti-social, we are thrilled to announce that we’ve just launched a Facebook page for one of the world’s most loved (and most profane) brands.

Our Mission: to help our heroes at Modern Toss bring joy to the world via the most hilarious, satirical, offensive means possible.

Starting life as a rude and mischievous website born of the wit of creators Mick Bunnage and Jon Link, the first issue of the Modern Toss comic emerged in Spring 2003. Today Modern Toss is a household name (except when your mum is popping round).

They offer a wealth of laugh out loud cult phenomena including prints, greeting cards, DVDs, T-shirts and even royal wedding tea towels.

Personalities like the infamous Mr. Tourette and Alan provide satire of mundane life that will make you shed tears of laughter… kind of like your average friend on Facebook, right?

We wanted to create a social media space that would give Modern Toss a way to engage with the fans directly, bringing their active blog, Twitter feed, and online store together in one delightfully rude mix.

Facebook is set to become the social heart of Modern Toss… we hope you ‘Like’

New Faces, New Roles at Que Pasa

Que Pasa welcomes a new joiner at the end of this month in the form of John Rahim, who’s coming on board as Business Director. John has a substantial track record in business leadership at digital agencies including Agency.com, Global Beach, Harvest and Dow Carter (now Altogether Digital and part of the Engine Group). He’ll be working alongside existing Directors Mark Maddox, Hugh Burrows and Janine Smith to develop relationships with brand and agency clients.

At the same time, Hugh Burrows becomes Planning Director, charged with leading pitches, planning client strategies and creating collaborative business partnerships with other agencies. This role recognises that as Que Pasa works increasingly on complex digital brand campaigns, effective planning becomes vital in delivering great ideas and great consumer experiences across a number of channels.
