Facebook has launched Facebook Studio, a new platform for agencies, brands and marketers to share ideas and get inspired.
And it is also, no doubt, an opportunity for Facebook to situate itself as curator of good social media campaigns and to drive more interest in revenue-driving marketing campaigns on the site.
As an educational resource, Facebook Studio promises to keep professionals up to date on trends with the Learning Lab, and compiles a Gallery of social media campaigns, along with a corresponding Agency Directory.
Agencies are quickly piling into the registry, with some of the biggest names taking the opportunity to showcase their work.
However, whether the ideas of support and inspiration will persevere or the whole thing will descend into a bunfight or just a crowded shop window is yet to be revealed.
